Head Injury cause stuttering?

Almost two months ago I was hit in the back of the head at a bar. I was punched in the lower back right section of my skull but i wasnt knocked out. Recently ive realized ive began to stutter or repeat my self in my speach. Ive read online brain trauma can trigger this, i was wondering if anyone had anymore info. Thank you
