My car is stuttering?

I have a 2005 Saturn VUE. Has 106K miles. Just replaced spark plugs because it felt like car was "missing." This happens especially at lower speeds and when going up hill. The spark plugs did not help. Car is still missing out and stuttering when going up hill and lower speeds. Back end feels like is shakes and skimmies when it's really bad. What could it be?
