You look young (to me anyways) but I think you're a cute guy. You don't look overweight to me at all. I think your only downside would be the shyness. Most girls like the guy to appraoch them (except for the ones who are super hot and think that they can get anything they want haha), so it might not be that girls don't like you or see you as BF material, but that they don't want to make the first move. It would help a lot if you were a little more confident and a little less shy. I know its hard, I'm a little shy myself, but I've always been the type of girl who never makes the first move. If a guy appraoches me, that's great and I usually give him a chance and see if we have anything in common, but I rarely approach guys in a romantic way.
